The first proof for my first novel arrived at the end of 2025...several proofs later, it's time to get to work on the next book!

Diving into the editing process for my first novel Wild Magic last fall I found the deep work required in editing, proofing, and copyediting not only the novel but the book and cover design too felt as if it required even more work than the actual writing of the novel itself!

It's been great fun, fun that took about eight weeks longer than I'd planned, but the book was published on the Winter Solstice 2025 (and is now available on Amazon - or, even better, by ordering from Bookshop.org where the local bookstore of your choice receives a part of the profit from your purchase)....so now it's on to the first book in my second series.

And then a return to Wild Magic to finalize the second book in that series.

Phew.

Given all that, I've decided to consolidate my online blog updates about my books. Instead of posting in multiple places, I'll only post on my Patreon page. So, sadly, this blog post will the last one on here - maybe someday I'll have the time to post to both again, but for now look for updates on my Patreon page at patreon.com/NateeraSkye.
