Wild Magic: Episode One available tonight!

The first serialized episodes from my new Wild Magic series will be posted today. Episode One from "Part One: The Hidden Mountains" will be available on Patreon at 7:00 p.m. EST in PDF format.

All episodes are near-finalized drafts in a graphically designed PDF file and will only be available on Patreon for the time being. This first episode is FREE to everyone. The second episode will be free to members (click on the "Join for Free" button here). Excerpt from today's episode:

....Beyond the paned glass windows, snowflakes drifted in the moonlit night as Ravyn’s fingers flew with near-perfect accuracy over the laptop keyboard, weaving a familiar web of words. This web had kept out the world since she was a small girl curling up in a woodsy nook at recess, pushing back glasses as they slipped off her nose, and reaching for her latest library book while other kids dodged balls, tagged friends and did whatever other loud and rowdy things they liked to do.

Like her father who preferred delving into history rather than paying much mind to contemporary reality, the broader happenings of the day had always seemed best kept at bay. The world got along just fine without her.

She had yet to know it, but her quiet existence as a nearly unheard-of writer making a life in the fabled lands of Michigan’s wild and wintry Upper Peninsula was about to be shaken to its very roots....
