Serialized publication of Trails of the Heart is well underway with multiple episodes posted weekly on various platforms (see links below). Having struggled for years to find emotional and financial stability, or at least the beginnings of it, single mom and nature photographer Natalie Reid isn't about to give up that hard won independence.

Her heart doesn't always listen, though, dredging out the old romantic dreams of her world-traveling ex-fiancée. Best friend Jade Daggett is no help either as she attempts to inveigle Natalie into giving her twin brother a chance.

When, as it is prone to do, Natalie's work as a nature photographer leads to some interesting places...and situations...Natalie finds paths she didn't know were there to be found. Trails she doesn't necessarily want to discover.

In addition to being a sweet-romance novel (think Hallmark!), Trails is part of the emerging eco-romance genre. Set in Michigan's resplendent Upper Peninsula, wildlife, traditional ecological knowledge, and the land itself are all part and parcel of the story throughout.
