First Novel Set to Launch!

The first novel in my Wildwood Romance series is set to launch next week! A "sweet romance" (think Hallmark movies & PG-13 ratings), Trails of the Heart is an autumn story about family, the North Country and the quest for stability in an uncertain world. Of course, that doesn't tell you much about the book in detail. Let's just say it also includes a little history, a little traditional star knowledge, and a little bit more of a love story.

Starting Tuesday, September 17, episodes from Trails of the Heart will be released on Patreon, Fictionate.Me, and Amazon's KindleVella. Here's how to find them:

Released as serialized episodes, you'll have a chance to engage with the novel as we go and let me know what you think. Maybe you're peeved at a choice a character makes. Maybe you have thoughts and feedback for character development. Maybe you simply have an edit to suggest. Whatever goes through your heart and mind, I'd love to hear as the episodes drop each week.

If you find you like the story, and I hope you do, you might also like to know I'll be following the characters introduced in Trails of the Heart throughout the Wildwood Romance series. I've already drafted the next novel. Though there's much I'm re-imagining for the second draft, still the central theme will remain: traditional ecological knowledge, wildlife management, and the trials and travails of a certain spunky, animal-loving heroine.

At any rate, I'm super excited about this first launch! And did I mention nervous? It's one thing telling a story to yourself and loved ones. It's another to put it out in the world to wend its wild way on an adventure of its own.
